Welcome to the Community of Gales Creek!

Gales Creek is a historic community near the edge of the Tillamook Forest, and is the Gateway to the Coast Range.  It's the perfect jump off point for the abundance of recreation that the Tillamook State Forest, Clatsop State Forest, and Oregon Coast afford.  Gales Creek and the surrounding area offers dining, wineries, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, ATV trails, horse trails, nurseries, farms, geocaching, groceries, gas, church services, beverages, entertainment, and more.  It is also the home of the annual Gales Creek Strawberry Festival, which features delicious Oregon Hood strawberries, live music, vendors, and world-famous strawberry shortcake.  Conveniently located off of Highway 8 and Highway 6 between Portland and the Coast, Gales Creek is a great place to explore!
